This is just a heads up that there is something rotten in the state
of texlive when built from source, at least on i686.

I've been building it in my build of LFS-svn-20141124 with
BLFS-svn-20141127. Two breakages :

1. The asymptote install blows up while creating its docs.
First reported on 18th November, I've added my details to the
ticket.
https://sourceforge.net/p/asymptote/bugs/184/
However, by that stage it has already installed the asy program, and
for me that works.

2. My test script for xindy now fails, because the index (which is
the whole point of xindy) is not created. That was how things used
to be when my clisp build was inadequate. Not sure if this is the
same problem, I did see an error message on the term, which I do not
recall seeing before, but it did not get into any of the log or work
files.

There is also the problem with Valgrind failing when using
pdfxmltex during 'make download-docs' (#5882) which Christopher
reported.

Now it is entirely possible that something else has changed (for
me, building texlive comes after a lot of BLFS has been built,
because otherwise I do not have a PDF viewer), but my primary
suspicion is that gcc-4.9.2 is doing something different.

All my testing was on i686 in qemu, perhaps things still work in
x86_64.
