But x86_64 xindy works fine in both almost-current svn and 7.6.
My guess is that clisp on i686 is broken by gcc-4.9, but it is only
a guess. I do not have a 32-bit system from before gcc-4.9.0.
I've got a 686 with gcc-4.7.0. Is there something explicit you would
like me to test?
