Got a new PSU, but the box is now totally dead.  Maybe the on/off
switch in the case actually is the problem - but I need more
hardware to be able to check that, and for the moment I'm not in a
rush to do that.  So, for now I will not be building or testing for
i686, except (possibly) in qemu.
