$DEITY - brasero has become horrible - it appears to be defaulting
to not creating a project, which sounds as if it will be fine (I
don't want to burn multiple copies), but that is where it errors.

Gave it a second go with stuff that was definitely 44.1/16, saved a
project as 'project' in the current directory. Closed brasero, then
ran it again - opening the 'project' : at this time, it seemed to
create brasero.cue and then write it - and reported a successful
write. But I discovered that the CD from xfburn was still in the
drive. With a fresh CD it again reports a successful write, and
this time I can play it.

Taking a break to eat, then I'll do some more tests and tags.
