For most people, even those who actively use latex, this will
probably be uninteresting - but the files / source are there in case
they are useful.

I've just uploaded latex-test-20160523.tar.xz to higgs, at
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~ken/tex-testfiles/ and refreshed
the ABOUT.pdf file in the same directory.

These are the files I use to test if the latex parts of a texlive
install (and minimally, context) are working. Changes from last
year are small:

· Various corrections to the documentation in ABOUT (I think it is
now all up to date, but sod's law suggests I probably still missed
  something).

· Replacement of the old 2D asy test which I cribbed from asy's
documentation with new 2D and 3D tests - 3D requires freeglut.

· Changes to which system fonts will be recognised for the CJK
languages (mostly additions, but I have replaced the old
fireflysung with its successor, OpenDesktop fonts).

· A check that only one texlive is on the PATH, so that programs and
packages the script finds must belong to the correct version. This
also saves me having to complicate the configure script any
further, it is already too complicated.

Details are in the ABOUT.pdf which is also included in the tarball.
Licenses, as before, are various and documented in the tarball.
