chapter 50: fop                 2.2           2.3          #10811

I plan on working qemu and tigervnc tonight and tomorrow,

I'm concerned about apache, jdk, fop, apache-ant as they are all java related. In the past, these have proven to be difficult to get the build instructions accurate. I'm not opposed to just removing all references to java from the book.

We need someone with intel video to do intel-vaapi-driver. I can do it, but I'll have to start with a new LFS build on my laptop.
===========
Other tickets that are not package updates:

Find a replacement for freetts
search.cpan.org is shutting down
Rebase wpa_supplicant security patch to include new vulnerability fix
Refactor the java pages
junit 4.12 does not build with java 10

The last two have to do with java and should be integrated with the packages above.

freetts is presently archived and we can just close that ticket or move it to another milestone.
===========
transcode has a note in the xml that it is broken. Is what we have for that page OK? Do ws want to keep transcode?
===========
The midori web site updated a couple of days ago and the source is no longer available there. Should we just archive midori? We can put the current version of th esource on anduin.
===========
Tickets in "hold" status:

chapter 44: x264                20180819       daily        #7555
chapter 11: ImageMagick6        6.9.9-35       6.9.10-10    #7859
chapter 13: rustc               1.25.0         1.28.0       #9168
chapter 37: Thunar              1.7.0          1.8.1        #10163
chapter 37: thunar-volman       0.8.1          0.9.0        #10163
chapter 17: alpine              2.21           2.21.999     #10188
chapter 10: librsvg             2.42.2         2.42.7       #10477

The only thing here to address is whether we need to update ImageMagick6 or not. The only packages that use it are inkscape (recommended) and emacs (optional).
==========
Tagging:

This is going well, but there are still about 290 packages to go. About 430 have been tagged already. Please jup in a tag what you can.

Scheduled release is a week from Saturday so there is adequate time to address everything.
