Yes I was thinking the same...see my second reply, but I think that in
light of the fact that most wouldn't be using CnP yet, that maybe the
book should use this syntax instead. Problem is that it's not portable.
Droping ash on the box again to test it, but tcsh is definately out.
One would think a user who switches his shell could muddle through a sed
command. Still I expect the back tick bit everyone once.
