She was running 2.8 just a month ago - and from what I read and hear, there should be a noticeable difference is ui responsivness.
The most noticeable difference is that Nautilus doesn't seem to work with FAM anymore
I should just install stable packages and enjoy doing other things than eg. rebuilding GTK 2.8 yet one *more* time cos it crashes everytime my sis fires up totem...
