sane-find-scanner produces the following ouput;
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x220d [CanoScan],
chip=LM9832/3) at libusb:005:002
For both root and a normal user. How do I put this info to use?
Could be a firmware issue. What's the result when you just try
"scanimage"? (no "-L")
