Did you apply the jdk-1.5.0_05-xorg-6.8.1-1.patch? This might be aplicable to XFree86 now, I'm not sure. I had asked a long time ago if it was, but noone was using XFree86 at the time. I'm not even sure I recall the code change in relation to the comments anymore, but it links to the libs in /usr/X11R6/lib....which is hard coded so it's broken if X is in /usr (Well it's just plain broken being hardcode like that). Any chance that a /usr installed X is the issue here?
