I did it and I still get problems. Btw., hotplug is working, as I can confirm plugging and unplugging the eth0 cable. I unpacked ipw2200-fw-2.4.tgz ( suposed to be the firmware for ipw2200 Version 1.0.8) in /lib/firmware. What else could I do ? I think, the problem is reduced to ipw2200 and firmware, isn't it ?
