May be a very silly question: I Installed with your help on my TravelMate with
centrino technology driver, firmware, etc. etc. All things seems to be
working smootly: iwconfig eth1 delivers:
IEEE 802.11g ESSID=Netgear, Mode: Managed, Frequency:2.462 GHZ, Access Point:
00:0F:B5:CF:58:28.....Link Quality=95/100, Signal level=-31dBm, Noise
level=-86dBm etc...
KWiFiManager shows a beatifull picture telling me:connected to network
Netgear, connection speed 54 MBits/s.
Kismet shows my network in yellow ( other networks nearby in green )
Everything seems to me to be OK. However: how can I connect my browser e.g. to
the internet ? or so simple as ping the router ? ( ping:destination host
unrechable ). Does something like "how to use wireless under linux" exist ?
Thank you very much for help,
Edgar
