Hi, I am having problems configuring libbonobo. I have libxml2, orbit and xml:parser installed. I have xorg installed.
The message below confuses me, because there is no package gobject, gthread and ORBit-Cosnaming in the blfs-book. Any clues? Why is the configure script checking for libbonobo when I want to install it right now? checking for sys/wait.h... yes checking syslog.h usability... yes checking syslog.h presence... yes checking for syslog.h... yes checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes checking for LIBBONOBO... configure: error: Package requirements ( ORBit-2.0 >= 2.9.2 ORBit-CosNaming-2.0 >= 2.9.2 glib-2.0 >= 2.6.0 gobject-2.0 >= 2.6.0 gthread-2.0 >= 2.6.0) were not met. Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively you may set the LIBBONOBO_CFLAGS and LIBBONOBO_LIBS environment variables to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details.
