This was it, ofcourse - I've got librsvg and GTK installed into
different prefixes (with purposely different /etc dirs).
gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders > $gtk_etc_dir/gtk2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders was
enough to fix it.
