Hi again !
I don't use GNOME so am not that bothered - but here
goes :
when Gnome starts up and the deskop appears, a Question window appears.
No buttons or text appear inside it, and pressing ENTER or ESC does
nothing !
At the same time, the main menus (application, places, desktop do
nothing when they're clicked on)
If I right-click, close it - and choose Force Quit - the desktop
refreshes and the Question dialog returns !
Double clicking on System icon on desktop, returns this error window :
Can't display "system:///"
any guesses ?
