I know firefox likes eating cpu, but that's too much. And I don't have flash 
installed (not yet).

I asked because firefox under windows or other linuxes (debian) runs fine, and 
I don't know how they compiled it. Actually, it's my only option to work with 
my bank, since firefox 0.8 or so. Konqueror is not  always usable for this. 
And of course, only option for gmail.

Well, I've updated nss/nspr and recompiled firefox. The problem remains.
