Hi all,

The version of Pango in the current svn blfs book will cause the above error to appear message in some circumstances with gtk+ apps.

According to some googling, this was fixed some time ago in Pango. The error is because some Deja fonts have an empty GPOS table. This is apparently a perfectly acceptable condition. So Pango was simply modified to stop producing the error message.

I have just installed the latest Pango (1.15.0) and glib-2.12.4 and the error message has now gone away: :-) And nothing seems to have broken either :-) In fact, the rendering of some apps seems much clearer, although that could be just me believing it to be so!

Cheers

Al
