I must admit that I never spotted the type of licence until after I'd
completed the work.

I would have thought that with a project that is fluid like LFS a less
restrictive license would be better.  Looking at the hint it has been over a
year since it has been updated and in that time there have been three
releases of the book.

If you do not have the time to keep the hint current then maybe it should be
looked after by others?

I guess these are thoughts that the LFS administrators would have to
discuss?

If I were to send you my updates them I'm sure you would be able to check my
work against yours.  However, as the licence says derivative works are not
allowed so I'll keep my updates private.

Thanks for the original hint though, I have found it most useful.
