Hi all,

I have build Xorg 7.1 using blfs svn-20061028.  I can start X and xdm without a problem, but if I don’t have a .xsessions file, I get just a cursor after logon with xdm.  The Xsession calls xsm if there is no .xsession file.  I get the menu screen with only the options “Default/Fail Safe” and Cancel.  After selecting “Default/Fail Safe”, no applications are shown, just the cursor.  I confirmed that there is a system.xsm file and have tried creating a .xsmstartup in the user’s home directory.  Any ideas?
