Second, you seem to have access to the hardware which doesn't work with your initial setup, so maybe *you* can tell *the_list* what limitations actually show up ? Don't forget *rewritable* CDROMS while you are developing CDs. Rather more than half of practical IT is finding the problems and getting around them. Most of us only have a very limited array of machines, some people even seem to manage on one, so looking for experts who know how X works on a variety of different video drivers when it hasn't been configured might be over-optimistic. Alternatively, you might do better asking your original question on the livecd list (I _assume_ that the livecd was built without /proc/config.gz to save space, otherwise you could have looked at the config). I'm not trying to be negative, despite how this probably sounds, and I wish you success. ĸen -- das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
