I suppose, though I'll continue to argue that configuration files required by a daemon don't belong in /srv. /srv is for *data* files maintained by servers, etc. I'm one that thinks the configuration files should not be in a public-domain area. And apparently the FHS agrees with me, if I'm interpreting the data from the FHS site correctly (data used solely by a 'user', should be in that user's home directory. Now, should these "home directories" be in /srv? I'm not sure, but the FHS seems to think not. -- Randy rmlscsi: [bogomips 1003.26] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 13:06:10 up 20 days, 13:20, 1 user, load average: 1.63, 0.90, 0.39 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
