Hello,

I encounter an annoying problem under my LFS system. I've installed
the PPP 2.4.4 package as described in BLFS and modular PPP support for
linux kernel 2.6.20.4 (all PPP modules including PPPoE). Everything
seems fine, I've added a file /etc/modprobe.conf which contains all
necessary aliases : for example, "alias net-pf-24 pppoe", and the others
ones as well (as under my old "2.4" linux system, where all is working
fine in the used config). But at this point, when I try to call my ISP,
pppd fails and tells me it can't load pppoe support, supposing I've not
it for my kernel, which isn't the case... anyone could help me ?

Thanks

Mickaƫl
