I finally got my new barebones system yesterday, and everything seems to be working great EXCEPT... something funny is going on with ALSA.
It's a different model sound card, so I built a new kernel with drivers for the new sound card (one of those onboard AC97 things) and rebooted. Now I'm getting sound... but it's all at super high speeds. What in the name of David Seville is going on, and how do I fix it??? -- Peter B.
