I went and looked and best as I can tell, SQLite is indeed
required. I'm updating the book to reflect that right now.

It's there. I'll look it up and get back to you. But note how
your new files (hooks to BDB files) in /usr/lib/apr-util-1
now are linked to db-4.8.
