I tested it on kdeadmin-4.4.2 and kdeutils-4.4.2    and cmake   did not 
complain  and   it compiled to 100%   sans errors.

make sure you put   the script in  the 'TOP' modules directory of 
kdeadmin-source.  then make sure it is 'seen'  like so:-

find_package(blfs_pyCUPS REQUIRED)
(line 7)
to   kdeadmin-4.4.2/CMakeLists.txt

the errors you are encountering  could-be  to   cmake still executing the 
outdated FindpyCUPS.cmake (shipped with current versions of kde4)    with the   
call to the FindpyCUPS.py  (and the 'Groovy'  mulaki !).  You  need to disable 
it  (see the end of my posting (like so):-
###B change
macro_optional_find_package(PyCups)
to 
macro_optional_find_package(blfs_pyCUPS)
in  kdeadmin-4.4.2/system-config-printer-kde/CMakeLists.txt
