I'm curious about this. What does the patch do? What problem does it fix? I'm still using audacious-3.2.1 but looking at my build scripts I configure it with LIBS=-lgmodule-2.0 and I don't remember why. I also notice that this is not in the book. Does the book need it? Or is this just something I need to cope with using bleeding edge binutils and glibc?
