Thank you for the information, the same to Fernando. For practical reasons ( I use only KDE ), I first tried the applet. It is working, however, it mentions " NetworkManager is not running, please start it" although NM is running, nm- tools telling me that I am connected: Device: eth0 [Wired connection 1] ------------------------------------------- Type: Wired Driver: r8169 State: connected .....
