Colour me surprised - I thought the scripts (post LFS-7.0) were
supposed to either be agnostic about what was used for /bin/sh, or
else to use /bin/bash if they had bash-specific features. Having
said that, I won't be surprised if any of the BLFS scripts I've
touched turn out to break [ I cannot imagine why people think it is a
good idea to build dash, but "your system, your rules" ].

But *all* of them fail with dash ? The pedant in me doubts that
you installed _everything_, so please can you specify _which_
scripts fail if /bin/sh is a symlink to dash ? Or do you mean that
all the *LFS* bootscripts fail ?
