google! Perhaps you get different results depending on what else you have recently searched for, but when I google for linux kernel ALC662 I got results pointing me to HDMI audio, and one pointer to the kernel's Documentation/sound/alsa/HD-Audio-Models.txt [ that just lists "variations" ]. The HD-Audio.txt file indicates that you want snd-hda-intel (CONFIG_SND_HDA_INTEL) which can be found at Advanced Linux Sound Architecture, PCI Sound Devices, Intel HD Audio : there are a LOT of configure options for that, I guess you need the Realtek codec support (CONFIG_SND_HDA_CODEC_REALTEK). ĸen -- das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
