Hi ! there.
This is first time i'm sending mail to ask some favour. I've recently
finished LFS-7.2 and am now on BLFS. I've installed gtk-+3.6.4 and am having
some issues with it. To begin with, i'm not able to make login sound work.
While installing gtk-+3.6.4 themes, i found login and logout sound files are
missing. Later, I installed sound-theme-freedesktop-0.8 and made the necessary
changes in the libcanberra-login-sound.desktop file so as to replace
desktop-login.ogg entry with new service-login.oga. I also changed
/usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --id="desktop-login" --description="GNOME Login" to
/usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --id="service-login" --description="GNOME Login" in
the gnome-session-properties but to no avail.
Need help to solve this puzzle.
