Absolutely no need to, whatsoever.

It so happens that Gmail has become too fat for it's own good lately (IMHO)
so I wouldn't be surprised if people were avoiding it.
In a kind of a wild guess I assumed integ had not used Gmail to transmit
that crazy link, which ended up - as we know - as two disjoint lines at the
recipient.

In short, POP3 or no POP3 :), based on my experience in similar cases,
I suggested he try Gmail for these situations and. for an extra peace of
mind,
see if my "Gmail" link would look good (i.e., in one piece) at his end.
