I'm still quite "network challenged." I'm installing "hplip" dependencies. The hplip configuration failed with
> cannot find net/ucd-snmp support (or --disable-network-build) I have a wireless printer and thought I needed net-snmp. However, as I'm "watching" the net-snmp build, I got the hunch that this dependency is for printers on a big network. My network is me, my iPad, my laptop and my printer. Is net-snmp really necessary for this situation?
