The html documentation shipped with qemu,and the man page for qemu-img are good for qemu-img (I think you need qemu-img convert). For qemu-nbd. I used: http://blog.vmsplice.net/2011/02/how-to-access-virtual-machine-image.html with thesse 2 differences: - I did not use kpartx - the command for disconnection is "nbd-client -d /dev/nbd0".
