 A quick google suggested that was released in June 2012 ?  If so,
you are missing all of the vulnerability fixes which came to light
around July 2013 - as well as all the various bug fixes throughout
xorg.

 We've recently been reasonably good at keeping the xorg versions
current.  Yes, there is always a possibility of breakage with the
latest and greatest, but for common video drivers it is
reasonably-well tested.
