Hello [email protected] Kwalletmanager refuse to start kdewallet subsystem Sorry, the system security policy didn't allow you to save the changes.
System: LFS-SVN-apr-may, /dev use systemd. SysVinit for init. Linux lfs 3.14.1 #2 SMP Sat Apr 19 07:20:05 CEST 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux kde-4.13.0 Steps to reproduce 1: Start Kdewallet manager 2: settings-> configure kwallet 3: enable kde wallet subsystem selected 4: apply I get a new window stating: Sorry, the system security policy didn't allow you to save the changes. It exists on mysstem and looks ok. Root cause:?? The systemd for /dev and sysvinit hybrid I use for LFS base is exotic, but so far the only needed workaround is to do "kdesu dbus-launch dolphin", instead of "kdesu dolphin" when I run kde apps as root. I have uninstalled consolekit and recompiled kde. Exotic system or not. It works fine. I am using kde and kmail from my build to send this, but I would like to have kwallet for passwd mgmt. Is it sytemd/consolekit/kdesu somehow again? Or is this completely unrelated? The references to ALSA and Upower and confuse me. Well, I have sound at least and no other issues in that area I am aware of.
