I have made some progress: If I change kdm.service "ExecStart=/usr/bin/kdm -nodaemon" to "ExecStart=/opt/kde/bin/kdm -nodaemon", kdm starts now normal.
I do not understand this behaviour, as my link in /usr/bin points to /opt/kde/bin/kdm. But anyway. I still cannot login, with the former error -------------------- -------------------- -- Dr.-Ing.
