Incidentally, looking at the link Christopher provided, Mozilla appear
to have deprecated GNU make in favour of a Python-based tool called
'mach', which comes with its own help facility detailing available
options (it may still call 'make' internally, of course), so unless I'm
being totally obtuse (which is perfectly possible), the answer to your
question doesn't appear to be readily available.

I noticed that too, and figured that the LFS guys must have noticed it too, and had good reasons for compiling in their usual manner.
