Hello,

>From reading your earlier message saying that you have at least at one
point mixed the systemd version of lfs with the trunk version, I would
actually suggest that it may well be better to do a complete fresh
installation following which ever book version that you intend to use.

You are not able to successfully mix the versions. If for example you
start with the main non-systemd version of LFS then you must continue on
and install the non-systemd version of BLFS.

As we, the editors can not possibly know at what point during the
installation you began following the incorrect version of the book, and
from the nature of the errors that you are receiving you very well may
not be able to get back to the point of where the actual problem
occurred.

You could go back and start at the beginning of the xorg section and
follow that through package by package from the start of that section,
taking into account that you need to know exactly which of the drivers
in the xorg drivers section that your hardware requires.

If re-installing xorg does not solve the issue, then due to the nature
of BLFS, it would be better to start from scratch double checking
everything in the book as you go.

Christopher.
