Hello,
I’m building BLFS 7.6 on VirtualBox running under Win7 x64 Ultimate. I’m
using the package users method.
The same error occurs in building WebKitGTK+ against both GTK+ 3 and GTK+ 2,
as root and the package user, in tty or X terminal.
All required dependencies have been installed with BLFS instructions (except
deviations required for the package user method). All recommended
dependencies except GeoClue-0.12.0 have been installed the same way.
AFAIK there are no major issues with the system so far, including Xfce4.
All in all, the build has gone smoothly. The system is stable and
everything works.
The following files were installed by sqlite:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sqlite sqlite 203175 Oct 29 09:05 /usr/bin/sqlite3
-rw-r--r-- 1 sqlite sqlite 26110 Oct 29 09:05 /usr/include/sqlite3ext.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 sqlite sqlite 360828 Oct 29 09:05 /usr/include/sqlite3.h
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sqlite sqlite 935 Oct 29 09:05 /usr/lib/libsqlite3.la
lrwxrwxrwx 1 sqlite sqlite 19 Oct 29 09:05 /usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.0 ->
libsqlite3.so.0.8.6
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sqlite sqlite 3023615 Oct 29 09:05 /usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.0.8.6
-rw-r--r-- 1 sqlite sqlite 271 Oct 29 09:05
/usr/lib/pkgconfig/sqlite3.pc
-rw-r--r-- 1 sqlite sqlite 8402 Oct 29 09:05
/usr/share/man/man1/sqlite3.1
Per the package users method, /usr/{bin,include,lib,share} are sticky
(1775).
And /usr/lib64 -> /usr/lib
The sqlite3 command line program appears to be working fine for root and
webkitgtk (the package user).
configure options
are: --prefix=/usr --enable-introspection --disable-geolocation
The error occurs a few hours into the build, which is very annoying.
Please help, due to the time required just to find out if the build fails or
not, I'm very open to ideas.
Has anyone else had this issue? Google is not being my friend.
Also, is there a way that I can retry the failing command while debugging
this issue without restarting the build at the beginning? Then once the
issue is resolved I will do the final build from the beginning. I
understand that changes to the configure options will probably require a
fresh start.
Thanks,
Roger
