When compiling the Xorg Libraries (Standard System 7.6), I get the following error:
"checking for X11... configure: error: Package requirements (xproto >= 7.0.17 xextproto xtrans xcb >= 1.1.92 kbproto inputproto) were not met: No package 'xtrans' found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables X11_CFLAGS and X11_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details." /// Reviewing the input file of packages to install, first two lines are as follows: a615e17d9fee6f097fc3b716eacb3dca xtrans-1.3.4.tar.bz2 c35d6ad95b06635a524579e88622fdb5 libX11-1.6.2.tar.bz2 It can install xtrans; but libX11 bombs, complaining about xtrans. How can I rectify this? I have worked through the BLFS X Window section, and it is working out quite well (except for a couple minor points), but now I think I'm stuck. Thanks for any pointers. ~Patrick
