William Harrington's recommendation to use the fsf versions of
config.{guess,sub} sounds like the right solution for this, but the
rest of us had not heard of this problem before. Can you confirm
that using the fsf files works for you ? Ideally, building on the
i7 and then copying to the AMD, to prove it solves the problem ?
