Yes, LFS Book is excellent. Unfortunately BLFS seems not to have a good
reputation, no matter I try to improve it.
BLFS is 10 times the size of LFS and multiple changes are required daily.
Unlike LFS, not all packages in BLFS are built by everybody, so there is
not the amount of testing.
BLFS requires more judgement by the user. There are a lot more
opportunities to go wrong in BLFS.
Besides, I think BLFS is excellent too.
