Please do not top post. It seems odd that the libdrm version
caused that.
I'm very sorry. I won't do anymore.
I don't know if I've understand you:
# ACLOCAL=$(aclocal -I /usr/X11R7.7/share/aclocal)
The blfs-book-7.9 on Introduction to Xorg-7.7 has
ACLOCAL='aclocal -I $XORG_PREFIX/share/aclocal'
(single quotes, not backticks), and not
ACLOCAL=$(aclocal -I $XORG_PREFIX/share/aclocal)
If you have it like that in /etc/profile.d/xorg.sh
I suggest to fix it and retry with libdrm-2.4.66
I transcripted your hint to $() syntax because they seem to me like
backticks.
You're certain. With
ACLOCAL='aclocal -I $XORG_PREFIX/share/aclocal'
export ACLOCAL
libdrm-2.4.66 compiles well.
I have circunscribed that ACLOCAL assignment into a script designed to
Xorg-7.7 compilation. It explains my correct compilation of the Xorg-7.7
packages until Mesa.
I failed when I thought that those assignments in "Introduction to
Xorg-7.7" were needed only on Chapter 24 packages and not along Chapter
25.
Thanks a lot.
