Test does not pass... The latest stable luit version on Xorg is 1.1.1, which
predates the changes made in July 2013. Actually, those were the last ones
made to git.freedesktop.org...

OTOH, Th Dickey maintains a fork of luit (http://invisible-island.net/luit/),
with releases roughly every year (http://invisible-mirror.net/archives/). I'd
say this is the version to have in the book. Ken may have tested that already.
