Dear colleagues,

I have install many packages according to the current BLFS development systemd book based on current LFS-rc8 systemd book and have find that several packages still install files into /usr/lib64. Lets see the directory listing of pkgconfig:

ved7 [ /sources/KDE/FW/kcodecs-5.31.0/build ]$ ls /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/
freeglut.pc jasper.pc libical.pc

Is it OK? Or we should prevent this?

Hi Vladislav,
It is definitely not OK. But I've built the totality of the book (SYSV version), and I do not see this.

All three packages use cmake, so I guess it has something to do with the way cmake chooses the library dir. Are you sure you run the second sed when installing cmake?

Pierre
