Dear colleagues,

I have install many packages according to the current BLFS development
systemd book based on current LFS-rc8 systemd book and have find that
several packages still install files into /usr/lib64. Lets see the
directory listing of pkgconfig:

ved7 [ /sources/KDE/FW/kcodecs-5.31.0/build ]$ ls /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/
freeglut.pc jasper.pc libical.pc

Is it OK? Or we should prevent this?

Hi Vladislav,
It is definitely not OK. But I've built the totality of the book (SYSV
version), and I do not see this.

All three packages use cmake, so I guess it has something to do with the
way cmake chooses the library dir. Are you sure you run the second sed
when installing cmake?

When cmeake was installed, one of the sed commands was not run:

sed -i '/"lib64"/s/64//' Modules/GNUInstallDirs.cmake
