I'm not sure if this is important: when I download the ncftp-3.2.6-src.tar.xz file from the link given in the BLFS-8.0 stable book, namely:
ftp://ftp.ncftp.com/ncftp/ncftp-3.2.6-src.tar.xz
the md5sum does not agree with the sum given in the book (I downloaded it twice to make sure). However, when I download the file from one of the mirror sites:
http://mirror.jaleco.com/lfs/pub/
