I think that's their problem, not yours. If I hit the site on Firefox,
I get a clearer message:

| ftp.mutt.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is
| only valid for the following names: osuosl.org, *.osuosl.org

I assume that ftp.mutt.org is an alias for their site, but one which
isn't listed in their SSL certificate. Works fine for FTP and HTTP, but
fails validation if you're using HTTPS.
