Does anybody have any further information about whether these two packages
are still actively maintained. I can't find any recent information about
either of them. The DirectFB link supplied in the book is to a list of
packages on fedoraproject.org. Apparently, DirectFB was dropped from
fedora after F19. The original DirectFB website, directfb.org, now appears
to be a website relating to sex.

Regarding SVGAlib, the website that the book links to looks exactly the
same as it did when I first downloaded the SVGAlib source code about twelve
years ago. Furthermore, all the links on that website point to an Israeli
website.

Perhaps both of these projects are now lost causes. Any advice would be
much appreciated. Both (or rather either) of these packages were useful in
providing the links browser with a graphical interface. Are there any
alternatives, other than installing Xorg? Could SDL or SDL2 be used in
some way? I've looked on the Twibright website and there are no clues
there, other than a reference to SVGAlib.
