In BLFS version 8.0 systemd, I've compiled Audacious-3.8.2 and its
plugins. The section "Configuring Audacious" has you execute this copy
command:
cp -v /usr/share/applications/audacious{,-qt}.desktop &&
It's not clear what is to be copied where.
The untarred directory audacious-3.8.2 contains the file
audacious.desktop, which I'm guessing should be copied to
/usr/share/applications/ as audacious.desktop and audacious-qt.desktop.
Also, the instructions above "Configuring Audacious" leave you in the
directory audacious-plugins-3.8.2, but I think you should be in
audacious-3.8.2 to execute the cp command.
Am I guessing right? If so, then the correct commands should be:
cd ../audacious-3.8.2 &&
cp -v audacious.desktop /usr/share/applications/audacious.desktop &&
cp -v audacious.desktop /usr/share/applications/audacious-qt.desktop &&
sed ....
